The Minot Convention & Visitors Bureau brought home some hardware this past week from the Upper Midwest Convention & Visitors Bureau Conference.  They were awarded with the Bruce McDaniel Award for Bureau Innovation for the creation and implementation of the website www.rallyminot.com.

The RallyMinot website was put together by the Minot Convention & Visitors Bureau in June of 2011 as the Mouse River left its banks, flooding over 11,000 homes in the Magic City.  The Minot CVB developed this site to provide information for citizens and visitors to Minot.  The site includes information on disaster relief, how you can help, donation, press conference notes, and news information as it comes available.

“We wanted to make a site that was one stop for information during this difficult time for our amazing city” said Wendy Howe executive director of the Minot CVB.  “It was a way for us to help both the community and the visitors coming to Minot.”

The RallyMinot website will be updated as information becomes available.  “We will continue to be here for our community as we rebuild the Magic of Minot” says Wendy Howe.

A special thanks to the folks at Todaymade for making this site possible.
