Valentine’s Day isn’t only about couples.  Valentine’s Day can also be a holiday to spread the love to friends, family, or even your co-workers if you so choose! Here are a few ways to make those important people in your life feel special this weekend:

1.      Classic Flowers and Chocolate

Flowers and chocolate are certainly the traditional way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Using Minot’s local flower merchants you are guaranteed to put a smile on any face with a beautiful arrangement. And don’t forget that chocolate! Hearts full of candy can be purchased at every retail store around the city and make a great gift for parents, grandparents, kids, and other loved ones. 2.      Valentine’s Day on a Budget

If you are on a budget this Valentine’s day, no worries, we have a solution for you! Greeting cards are affordable and can be very personal. Plus, it’s a great way to spruce up a gift you may already have. To complement flowers, candies, and other gifts, we suggest writing a hand written message inside of a greeting card. The card may cost you up to $5.00 USD but the value you can add with the written word is absolutely priceless. Whether it be a poem, or your decoration of your love, the written word can hold more value than anything gift you could buy!

3.      Nothing Says Love like a Little Local Hockey

Whether it be date night or a family outing, hockey may be the perfect solution for a fun activity during the holiday weekend.
